how are you going? i would love to hear your thoughst and suggestions on what kind of help the 40+ ers experiencing cancer need and want. I know that if I was even 50, i would still want to be included in the young adult age range rather than go to the pensioner support groups.
Have you had contact with the cancer council? I will be advertsing my study on there website in a few weeks once i get ethics approval passed from my uni. I would love to have the upper age ranges in my study (40 - 50) so I can hear what has to be said and report on it so we can ghet some better support services for us older young people.
anyway i hope you are coping for now and keep strong chick! xn
Love your pics ... they are awesome... aren't pets just the best therapy ever!

I have just had my first appointment with my radiation specialist about the course I will be having -30 treatments - o well - bring on modern medicine I say. I start my chemo on the 27 May and will be having TAC chemo - once every three weeks for six cycles. By the time I have finished all of this I will feel like I've been in the microwave on high no doubt. I will also be having tamoxifen too for five years - yay! I have a very positive outlook on it all as I think it's better that I found it and acted on it rather than the oppposite. I actually lost both of my parents by the age of 24 so I'm pretty strong and determine that's for sure. I'll add some more photo's soon too and hopefully we can chat about other stuff rather than yucky cancer as well.
take care and keep me posted
