Good morning folks!! Hope that everyone is feeling well rested and well today!! I dont have anything going on today as usual, going to take the girls to school and maybe take a nap. Everytime i lay down for a nap the past several days my phone rings like hell lol... go figure, but maybe today is the day. My little brother was home on leave from Iraq the past 2 weeks, but he goes back today and I'm of course sad about that. Hopefully he'll be home for good soon. Dont know if i mentioned it, but this is his 3rd deployment to Iraq!!! We're all just ready for him to be home and stay home. that's the hard thing about being a career military man, you just go where they tell you and dont have alot of choice in it.
So what's on the agenda today ladies?? Do we have any dad's in the group?? there seem to be alot of members but no one is really posting... I hope that we can change that soon. I'll be around if anyone wants to talk. Hugs to all of ya!!

Morning All... I'm off for scan results today so I'll post when I get home tonight. Hope you all have a great day. Maybe we should post something to attract people? I'm still trying to figure out this web page so I'm not sure how to do it. Take Care

Hey Guys! Hope everyone is well today.

I went to the Ped for my son's 2yr. check up. My small fry is a healthy 24 months old, thank goodness for that!

Melissa - I'm keeping you in my thoughts today. Wishing you the very best on your scans.

Jamie - Maybe you'll get the uninterupted nap today? Hope you'll be able to get some rest. And, I hope that your brother will stay home for good.

Thanks Jen,
I just got a call from my lil bro, he's in Portland and on his way back to Iraq. He is supposed to be there till late January/early Feb. but because of a promotion he got he may get back early to do a special sort of training... soo i'm hoping that it will be a VERY early homecoming. Till then, i'll just be missing him tons. And a no go on the nap lol... but oh well... life goes on hahha.
I'm happy that your little boy is healthy!! it's very satisfying and relieving to hear when you're a mom!! My girls are thankfully healthy too, but it's getting harder and harder as they become teens to get them to eat the things that are good for them, and to eat what they need lol. My oldest is weight obsessed... and 1 of the twins has worked very hard to lose 15lbs since october, her dr told her she was overweight and it upset her, so now she's lighter and he approves. the other twin is a twig, never gains weight and just doesnt care about what she eats lol. very different girls, very different food matters lol. teens are just crazy all together though!!

I'm back... didn't go as well as I had hope. They found 10 nodules in my right lung and 4 in my adomen. They think it is either the cancer spreading or a weird thing that some transplant patients get. I go in for a biopsy Monday or Tuesday and then go back on the 28 to meet with the doc to discuss the results. I'm not sure how I feel right now if that makes sense. I think I'm in denial. I'm going to take it day by day and keep going on as normal until I get the results. I'm still going to go into work tomorrow. I am going to go to my parents house with the kids for the weekend so I'm not sitting here. This sucks... I am taking a frinking Ambien tonight :).

Melissa ((((HUGS)))),

Of course it makes sense to not know how you feel... i was the same way when i was first diagnosed. I'll keep praying for you and the return of good biopsy results. I'm here if you want to vent or need a shoulder to cry on. I know it's only a cyber shoulder, but heck... i'm still here. i'm thinking of you soo much, and good for you for going to your parents house and not letting this set into your mind... think positive if possible.. i know easier said than done. if you need someone let me know... hugs,
Jamie
