I'm so PSYCHED!

We have JUST BLOWN THROUGH the 300-member threshold in less than a week, and all of us here at PC Global HQ are high-fiving each other. That is, when we can tear ourselves away from scrolling through your photos, watching videos, posting in groups and obsessively watching the membership ticker go up on our computers. All other work around here has come to a screeching halt. (Our next retreat will just have to be at my parent's house in Dallas, I'm afraid. With pizza.)

It's so cool to connect faces with names we have known for a while, and to see new names and faces pop up here! I will confess, I had no idea how much fun this would be. I mean, I'm old. I'm 40 and I'm scared of MySpace. There, I said it.

But damn, this is fun! And it's SO EASY.

So---invite everyone you know to join! I'm afraid of what might happen around here if the ticker slows down. Laura and Courtney might slide into deep depressions. But I'll be FINE, just FINE. I swear.

Okay, okay. I see the red flag. It occurs to me that at least 2 others (who shall remain nameless but their initials are Superfluke and Mommasaid) have ALSO used the A-word when describing My Planet. Maybe we need to start a support group.

Oh, wait...

However, I feel like I can't really relate to people. They can discuss normal day to day life activities, my life isn't like that anymore. I am way passed going through treatments, but I deal with the complications from them so I hope I can provide info and insight to people who are just starting to go through what I have been through.

I'm a 35 yr old cyberloser so tell me: how do I get my recent activity to show on my page and can I email a member directly without it being a public comment. Oh, I feel tragically unhip!

It will send a private message through the Ning network. To look at your messages or replies, look up in the verrrrry top left of the window and look for either a little envelope or the word "New!". See how savvy I am?
