Hi everyone. I hope everyone is doing well today and that you had a good day. My day was pretty good didn't do to much today.

I had to run dinner out to my husband at work this evening. He was suppose to get off at 5:30 pm but his closing Assistant's daughter called and said her mom was in the hospital. So my husband had to close tonight. His Assistant called him later to say she was home that she has fluid around her heart and they put her on medication and that she can go back to work. My husband is also closing tomorrow he wasn't suppose to but he switched with his other Assistant so he can sleep in tomorrow.

I really wish my husband would wake up and find another job. I know he has worked in retail all his life but all the hours he puts in it's not worth it. For one he's the Manager and gets no over time at all and he puts about 70 hrs in a week. And his salary isn't all that great. When I worked full time I brought more home then he did. If he makes the month in sales he does get a bonus but if he would figure it out if he got paid over time he'd get a heck of a lot more in overtime then he does in the little bit of bonus he gets and you get nothing if you don't make the month in sales. Plus, it would be great if he has a Monday-Friday job. He's off this weekend which is a miracle. He really needs another assistant at his store but no luck yet. And it seems he gets kind of jealous with where I go when he's at work. He asked me yesterday on the phone what I did and I said I went to Darrenkamp's and he says "It Must Be Nice" and I politely said yes it sure is LOL. Plus, he misses out on seeing Nicholas and spending a lot of time with him. He keeps saying that they are going to split the stores and will need another District Manager but I've heard that for 2 years and they have done nothing. Plus, I feel they won't promote him because when I store is doing poorly they transfer him to that store and he turns it around that it's making a profit and he makes them look good and they wouldn't want to give that up. I'm soon going to have to sit down and put the cards on the table and I feel now is the time for him to find another job even if it would maybe pay less but it has a potential for overtime it's worth is and maybe working a normal 40 hour week.

We are suppose to get some rain here. I'm hoping the weekend is nice though. Saturday night I want to go watch the horse races. Just to get an evening out just the two of us.

Did anyone else plant there gardens yet? We planted ours and boy the spring onions and beans are growing like wild fire. We also, have peppers and tomatoes planted and are going to plant a few more things. I got some herb packets to plant but want to get like planter boxes to put them in. We have a fence around the garden to keep the little critters out, the dog and my son out also LOL.
