I didn't realize that melissa was such a popular name. I rarely meet someone with the same name as me. And have never met one that had/has cancer. A bit about myself. I was diagnosed with Melanoma cancer. Never sun bathed. I only found out that I had this because a close friend had been diagnosed with it. I call him my gaurdian angel. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be here. It has been a very long and mentally difficult journey for me. The end result...becoming a better person who never takes anything for granted. Animals are my passion. I live on 5 acres and am surrounded by my joy. Horses, goats, pigs,chickens, bunnies, you name it, I have it! I have a wonderful husband and a precious toddler named Ryan. If I died tomorrow, I would have left an almost perfect life behind.......
